General Info

This is our first Valentine's event! It was mainly meant as a test for the team to see if seasonal events can be successfully launched with little to no need for Snakes to stop working on the things he's working on. But that doesn't stop us from enjoying the Love Period with more than just a themed Gamepass!

On the Valentine maps:

Collect Heart Petals

(main event currency) by fainting common & uncommon pokemon.
Rare pokemon will have a chance to drop Bronze Valentine Chests.

Very Rare pokemon will have a chance to drop Silver Valentine Chests.

Ultra Rare pokemon will have a chance to drop Gold Valentine Chests.

Legendary pokemon will have a chance to drop 2 Gold Valentine Chests.

Walkthrough

The story is pretty self explanatory in the Quest Tracker on majority of the quests, but maybe there's some question about some steps still, will try to explain it more here.

Quest 1: Valentine Event is Live!

Love is in the air... but something feels off. Strange romantic behavior has been reported at Valentine Plaza. Investigate the disturbance and uncover the mystery behind the chaos.

You'll instantly clear this quest when you walk a couple tiles in the Valentine Event. You talk with the Frantic Lady near the lake in Valentine Plaza.

Quest 2: A Strange Feeling in the Air

Trainers and Pokemon are acting strangely in Valentine Plaza. Talk to the locals, observe the chaos, and defeat Heart-Tainted Pokemon to calm the situation.

You'll have to talk to all the trainers first. These are a couple of the NPC's that aren't guarding the other maps.

Only after talking to the trainers, you can go and battle the level 25 NPC pokemon:

• Togekiss
• Flittle
• Indeedee

They will drop a Petal Dust each (required later in questline).

NOTE: they are uncatchable, as they are NPC's!

For the quest, only 2/3 need to be defeated before you can continue & talk to the Frantic Lady at the Lakeside again:

You'll need to accept the Heart Pendant

(and the free 50 Heart Petals

).

Quest 3: Fields of Fragrance Pt. 1

With the Heart Pendant, venture to Sweetheart Fields and speak with Botanist Mira about the abnormal rose blooms.

The Sweetheart Fields are the map to the left of Valentine Plaza. The guard there will allow you to continue now (the guard will still be there visually until you change maps)

Botanist Mira will be close to the entrypoint of the map (see picture).

Quest 4: Fields of Fragrance Pt. 2

Collect 15 Valentine Roses and travel north to Heartbloom Grove to confront the Corrupted Roserade.

To collect the Valentine Roses

you need to faint wild pokemon & get the drop on Valentine Maps maybe the roses on the maps also give them? Explore!

With travel north, the game means North from Valentine Plaza, Corrupted Roserade will be close to the entry point:

(night time triggered during ss'ing )

The Corrupted Roserade also requires you to equip the Heart Pendant

(gained earlier) to one of your pokemon in Party.

The Roserade will fight you with the level depending on the amount of badges you have.

• Level 35 for beginners
• Level 75 for medium progression
• Max level is 120

He will have Permanent Grassy Terrain.

*

Level 120 might scare you at first, but like all AI controlled pokemon, there's always exploits/weaknesses.

After beating the Corrupted Roserade, you will get the Corrupted Petal

needed to continue the quests.

After this, you have unlocked the Corrupted Roserade as a daily rebattle (free choice on difficulty).

Quest 5: Fields of Fragrance Pt. 3

The Corrupted Roserade has been defeated. Return to Botanist Mira in Sweetheart Fields to craft the Calming Blossom.

Sweetheart Fields is the map to the left of Valentine Plaza.

To craft the Calming Blossom

, you don't need anything new. Just the 15 Valentine Roses

(needed before the fight with the roserade) & the Corrupted Petal

(gained after beating the roserade):

Quest 6: Love-Sick Frenzy Pt. 1

Enter the Rose Garden and speak with Botanist Mira at the entrance.

Rose Garden is the map to the right of Valentine Plaza.

Having the Calming Blossom

from previous quest, the guard will have gone away.
As the quest says, Mira will be near the entrypoint.

Quest 7: Love-Sick Frenzy Pt. 2

Investigate the couples causing chaos in the Rose Garden. Defeat them to calm their emotions.

You have to fight the trainers. Talking to one of the 2 partners (horizontally), the other will charge & attack you. Each of them gives a Love-Torn Ribbon

After collecting 3 Ribbons, you can continue the quest by talking to the Enamorus at the bottom of the map.

This will trigger Mira's return on this map (near the entrypoint).

Quest 8: Love-Sick Frenzy Pt. 3

You obtained the Love-Torn Ribbon and witnessed Enamorus. Return to Botanist Mira to craft the Heart Purifier.

The Love-Torn Ribbon

gained from the previous quest, allows you to craft the Heart Purifier

. Botanist Mira will now be near the entrypoint of the map again.

To craft the Heart Purifier you will need:

Quest 9: Heartstorm Pt. 1

Meet Botanist Mira in Heartbloom Grove. She believes the emotional aura is spreading north.

Heartbloom Grove is the map to the north of Valentine Plaza.

Mira will be close to the entrypoint.

She'll make the forest guard to the north let you pass. (The guardian will disappear once you change maps once)

Quest 10: Heartstorm Pt. 2

Travel north through Heartbloom Grove into Heartbreak Forest, defeat the three Guardians, and speak with Enamorus to receive the Heart Lyre.

Again the quest tracker does tell you everything honestly.

Heartbreak Forest is the map north of Heartbloom Grove, so 2 maps north of Valentine Plaza.

The three guardians are:

• Guardian of Obsession (Level 50 Milotic, bottom right of the map)
• Guardian of Heartbreak (Level 50 Scizor, middle left of the map)
• Guardian of Jealousy (Level 50 Gardevoir, middle right of the map)

Fainting all 3 of them will make the dynamic duo (Botanist Mira & Enamorus) appear at the top of the map:

Talking with Enamorus will give you the Heart Lyre

. The Lyre is needed to continue & find Enamorus at the Peak.

Quest 11: Hearts Without Balance Pt. 1

Speak with Botanist Mira near the exit of Heartbreak Forest. She believes Enamorus is gathering at the summit.

Talk with her near the exit of the Forest (at the top). She's an eavesdropper as she doesn't really say anything that Enamorus didn't.

Quest 12: Hearts Without Balance Pt. 2

Travel to Cupids Peak and ascend to the summit where the Heartstorm has collapsed upward.

Cupids Peak is the map north of the Forest. So 3 maps north of Valentine Plaza.

You will have to traverse this map zigzagging between the rocks towards the Enamorus Arena.

You play the Heart Lyre

(just talk with it) and Enamorus will fight you as a level 55 pokemon (uncatchable).

After fainting him, the Heartstorm is calmed. Congratulations!

Now that you completed the story you have unlocked the following repeatable content:

Forms

Valentine 2026 is using the chance on the encounter way of finding forms.

Example: Rare has a set chance of being -V1.

The same goes for all the chest pokemon (listed below), albeit chances are different (higher) for chests compared to wild spawns.

Blaze Radars stop you from running/fainting Rare or up Valentine Forms.
NOTE: Only if these are the chance of finding them, not just spawning as their form like usually the case in swarms.


Odds

The current odds for wild spawns are:

Common form: 1/750
Uncommon form: 1/80
Rare form: 1/40
Very Rare form: 1/10
Ultra Rare form: 1/5
Legendary form: 1/2


Improving odds

We have 2 things that improve the odds, both are server wide.

The first is Event Charm. This item is available in the gem shop & boosts the form odds with 25% for everyone on the server, for 1 hour.

The second is a feature called Community Goals. This is visible in-game in the top right UI as follows:

So after there were 100K faints server wide, the odds of finding event forms is increased with 40% for an hour.

NOTE: Both these things only influence pokemon that aren't 100% in their form spawned. Pokémon that spawn as their form visible in-game, are not affected by this.

Valentine Box

Any Valentine Form pokemon can be traded for a Valentine box with the Heart Collector NPC located on Sweetheart Field (Left of Valentine Plaza).

She is limitless usable & takes any rarity of Valentine forms. All of the above overview give 1 Valentine Box.

Enamorus

A daily boss unlocked by finishing the Valentine story.

The only requirement to your team is the Species clause. You cannot have 2 (or more) of the same pokemon in your team when fighting it.

Enamorus will be located in Enamorus Arena, 4 maps north of the Valentine Plaza.

He can be challenged in 3 difficulties: Easy, Medium & Hard.

Team

The levels will be:

1. Easy: Level 70
2. Medium: Level 85
3. Hard: Level 120

Corrupted Roserade

A daily NPC battle, very different from usual bosses so deserving of it's own post!

Location: Heartbloom Grove, 1 map north of Valentine Plaza.

The Corrupted Roserade is a chad & fights you as a solo pokemon.

This Roserade can be fought in 3 difficulties: Easy, Medium & Hard.

Easy will be level 35
Medium will be level 85
Hard will be level 100

Mechanic

The idea behind it is to have a not time-based lead up to our Dynamax event mechanics.

Roserade will have the famed Dynahax Ability. In short: Can't be cheesed on. Full explanation in below spoiler.

Spoiler: Dynahax ability effects

This Dynahax ability makes the pokemon have the following things:

• Immunity to all ability neutralizing effects (including but not limited to Mold Breaker, Neutralizing Gas, Entrainment).
• Immune to everything regarding %hp damage. (including but not limited to Endeavor, Super Fang, Destiny Bond, Leech Seed, Whirlpool, Iron Barbs, Rough Skin, Rocky Helmet, ...) (sandstorm won't damage the dynamax pokemon, other effects of weather apply)
• Immune to all status like poison, burn, paralyzed etc.
• Drain Moves (such as drain punch, giga drain, draining kiss, ...) won't heal your pokemon when used against the dynamaxed pokemon. This includes the held item Shell Bell.
• Items can't be switched with trick/switcheroo/... (they can be knocked off!)
• Moves that make the dynamax lose freedom of choosing next move do not work (eg Taunt, Encore, Torment, Grudge, ...)
• Moves that change the dynamax power or typing (like Soak, Speed Swap, ...)

The Roserade's HP is increased with a lot of HP EV's. Easy will have 5.000 HP, Medium will have 50.000 HP, Hard will have 135.000 HP.

Additionally, also like the dynamaxed pokemon in the Dynamax content, Roserade will get a 5th move slot with the move Haze.
The AI will almost always haze when there's 2 stages increased (on your pokemon) or decreased (on itself) in the same stat.
Lowering the opposing pokemon's stat stages to -1 is almost always the best way to deal with them.

In Roserade's case, he has an extra effect in his HARD difficulty battles with a Permanent Grassy Terrain. This Terrain can be overwritten by other terrains, but when that terrain's timer runs out, it will become Grassy Terrain again.
NOTE: Grassy Terrain heals your (grounded) pokemon, but it also increases Roserade's power on Grass type moves!

Evidently, above 2 posts about the Enamorus & about the Corrupted Roserade are also repeatable. But these guys are bundled together & have to give it a name you know .


Revenge of the infatuated Couples

Jealousy, toxicity & clingyness isn't their main problem. It's you!

The couples in the Rose Garden (1 map right of Valentine Plaza) will fight you daily (CD on daily reset ,UTC midnight)!

Clingy Pair

Nothing worse than watching a clingy couple am I right? That's why these guys will use the most annoying pokemon of the couples (no offense Lopunny):

Revenge of the Guardians

If you can't beat them, mega evolve!

The guardians from the questline have returned to Heartbreak Forest with a vengeance. You can fight these guys every 6 hours (CD starts on defeating them)!

They clawed and fought their way up to level 120 and gotten a mega stone as held item to boot (except milotic)!
