Most evolutions are the same as other pokemon games. Some have different requirements, are seasonal or are just a bit complicated. (react/send me a message if there's one I forgot about)
All item evolutions require you to use the item from bag. This includes items which normally require you to be holding the item & then leveling up like Razor Claw & Razor Fang.
All trade evolutions can be done by trading with someone else, or by using a link stone from the pokemarts (1K f each). If using a link stone, you just have to use the link stone from bag as if it were an evolution item. Example: Gengar, Alakazam, ...
Evolutions where you need to trade the pokemon while it is holding an item can be done by just using that item from bag. Example: Electirizer, Magmarizer, ...
If a pokemon has a split evolution between it's normal evolution & the regional evolution, then these are implemented in PBO for the alolan & galarian ones.
Base evolutions will happen during in-game day time (6.00 - 12.00 & 18.00 - 00.00 UTC server time).
The regional ones will happen during in-game night time (12.00 - 18.00 & 00.00 - 6.00 UTC server time).
Examples:
Pikachu => Raichu: Use thunder stone during day time
Pikachu => Raichu-Alola: Use thunder stone during night time
Koffing => Weezing: Level up to level 35 or up during day time
Koffing => Weezing-Galar: Level up to level 35 or up during night time
NOTE: This is only the case when it's a split evolution of the same pokemon. Pokemon like Slowpoke will not evolve to their galarian counterparts since they require a Slowpoke-Galar.
Some exceptions may be in place. EG: Exeggutor is only alolan version if evolved at daytime (and regular at night time). Use /evolutions Pokemon command in-game to make sure and/or check before agreeing to evolve.
Primeape finally got what it deserved in gen 9, a new evolution.
Normally it requires you to use Rage Fist 20 times.
We adjusted this to use Rage Fist 3 times in a battle & faint the pokemon with the Primeape.
The easiest way to do this is to find a low level normal type, use rage fist 3x on him & then kill it. If you are done with Jvaloh story, it doesn't even need to be low level, as Noctowl's near the Champion's Road will spam dream eater .
If you use the /evolutions Dunsparce command in in-game chat, you get the following response:
[SYS] Dunsparce evolves to Dudunsparce with the help of levelling up. Evolution conditions LevelupEvolutionData{minLevel=32, maxLevel=100, gender=NONE, timeOfDay=ALL, requiredWeather=NONE}.
Meaning you just need to level up to level 32 & it evolves into dudunsparce.
Those of you who know gen 9 a bit, know there are 2 forms for dudunsparce however, the 2 segment & 3 segment ones.
In PBO, this evolution is also implemented. There is however no way to say for sure which one your dunsparce will evolve into.
I'm not sure if cancelling & levelling up again gives a new 1% chance on three segment dudunsparce.
There's no real difference between the forms, but it does add a caught dex (and lowkey flex in chat possibility)
The one most of you are here for I'm pretty sure. He needs a Leader's Crest item, available after a Hoenn Quest.
Requirements
Level 100 Bisharp
Hoenn 8 badges (maybe even championship)
The quest
Find Blaze's Aide
To start the quest, you need to find Blaze's Aide on Champion's Road #5, where pawniard spawns.
They'll say you need to train bisharp to it's peak. This is until it's level 100.
If you talk to her with a level 100 bisharp in team, you'll get the quests in your quest tracker.
when talking to the aide with the lvl 100 bisharp
Find King Bisharp
After proving your mastery by training a Bisharp to its peak, rumors lead you to seek the legendary King Bisharp. Embark on a quest across the Hoenn region to uncover this hidden monarch.
If you want the full experience, look around Hoenn, there will be a clue here and there, pointing towards the correct location.
If you just want to speedrun (and possibly complain after that there's nothing to do), open the below spoiler.
Mt. Pyre (Summit), top left of the map, walk down past the bisharp
Fight King Bisharp
Once in the cave, you'll have to beat Kingambit's team (challenge by talking to the kingambit).
Bisharp
Weavile
Iron Jugilis
Kingambit
Darkrai
Houndoom
Once you won, you'll receive the Leader's Crest item.
Use it from bag like an evolution item.
NOTE: It's a consumable evolution item. There is currently no other way to obtain it so there is only 1 kingambit possible per player at the moment.
*Since then, we've had a hard to get way of getting more Leader's Crests during the Halloween Seasonal Event.
Some pokemon require weather to evolve. This means that the map has to have permanent weather, the pokemon won't evolve when only using move or ability induced weather (like drizzle, sunny day, ...).

Original games have a very weird way of evolving Gimmighoul to Gholdengo.
We use an easier method with just a consumable item obtainable from the Daycare shop in Hoenn.
Gimmighoul in PBO is gained from the Hex Maniac weekly content in Hoenn. Both forms can be spawned from the Gimmighoul chest. Both forms can evolve into Gholdengo.
