My take on IV Resets

First of all, I would like to ask for all your opinions on this matter so please kindly respond that you think of this :D

My take is that we should make IV resets available to people only a set limit per week or so and also make it so that you can only use it on pokemons you yourself OTed.

This way, people won't say the game will break due to pay to win, neither will they complain about the game just becoming pokemon showdown.

Lastly I would like to point out the flaw in which is 'bUt wHaT wIlL HaPpEn iF people just buy perfect iv pokes which has been iv resetted already?' 'isn't that pay to win? '

Well if you look at it this way, people right now have already been buying epic pokemons from others, some using the pay to win method, and so can't you say the game irrelevant to if iv resets get added will still be pay to win based on your opinion? But for me I don't mind if you make it so pokemon that was iv resetted can't be trade or something, works either way for me.

In conclusion, I really would like to see singular iv resets and the like added to the game in these conditions to make it fair. If I overlooked anything please do inform me because its better to be fuming over there thinking I'm writing without thinking than letting me know instead right?

Also please devs won't you let me nickname my snorlax Faye? ;)

-1 IV Resets, this would produce more "perfect" Pokemon in the game and market.
+1 Nicknames :P

Firstly I would like to giev my Thanks for agreeing with the addition of Nicknames in the game.
Now moving on, I would like to say there are currently no perfect iv pokemon in the game. Most I've seen are 3 31IVs and that's it, well given the rates of this game and the chances of getting a perfect 5 31IVs pokemon WITH the correct nature being abysmally low, it makes sense.
I've pointed out that limiting the amount of iv resets you can get per week and making untradeable would solve your problem of too much perfect iv pokemon in the shop. You can also go further and ask for a ban in trading iv resetted pokemon as I have stated.
In my opinion, adding iv resets are essential as there is a big faction of people who are looking forward to battling with the full potential of their pokemon compared to vsing random Ivs with random Ivs. If they are not added, the game would revolve too much on rng and trading to actually have a balanced pvp aspect to it per se.
Well at the end this is just my opinion and once again would like to thank you for expressing your thoughts on this topic :D

I believe that adding more ways for you to obtain a Pokemon with even 2 31 IVs would be detrimental to the economy of the game in the long run, maybe there aren't that many right now but the game hasn't been out a month yet.
As time moves forward you will start seeing more and more Pokemon with Epic IVs and thats because people will have taken then time to hunt these Pokemon the natural way. I understand trainers want to be able to use Pokemon at their full potential, I do also but it feels a whole lot better when you have a Pokemon with real nice IVs and perfect nature/ability considering how difficult it is to obtain a Pokemon of such magnitude.
You are proposing for there to be limits set in place for the resetting of IVs but even with limits, you're still making it easier to obtain such Pokemon just by adding more ways to alter IVs.
Its just my opinion, but i like the way the market is now where if you see a Pokemon with close to perfect IVs and perfect nature/ability it's actually a rare sight and something that actually impresses people.

Still +1 on the Nicknames though that would be so cool and wouldn't affect the economy of the game in the least, making it so a Pokemon can only be nicknamed once would add a benefit for being the OT.

(EDIT: Now that i think about it if they added a Nickname feature to the game and made it so it could only be Nicknamed once i believe this would increase the value of Pokemon that haven't been nicknamed, so it would have an impact on the economy but in this example i believe it would make a good impact).

I would just like to say that there's nothing wrong with whale players or P2W players as money is also a type of personal strength. If some guys hate them; then invest, why must they not use their OWN money. What right do they have to abuse P2W players?
BTW, I'm just a casual noob player of PBO and I like to destroy those F2P players in other games who abuse me.

+1 for IV reset
-1 for nickname
