Quest 1: Return of the Moonlight Ritual
A concerned local has told you about the lost Clefairy moonlight ritual at Mt. Moon Square. Investigate what happened to this magical tradition.

Once at Mt. Moon during nighttime, you'll see a Local Researcher near a solitary Clefable.

He will explain why the Moonlight Ritual is no longer held.

Quest 2: Return of the Moonlight Ritual
You've discovered a lone Clefable waiting at Mt. Moon Square and learned from a researcher that a Cleffa was separated during Team Rocket's raid. Search Mt. Moon's caves to find the lost Cleffa.

Quest tracker is telling you exactly what you need to do to be honest.
Team Rocket will be threatening the cleffa's safety on your way there.

Quest 3: Return of the Moonlight Ritual
The frightened Cleffa has decided to trust you and is making its way back to Mt. Moon Square. Follow it to ensure the family reunion happens safely.

Go back to Mt. Moon Square & talk to the Cleffa's/Clefairy's/Clefables to receive a Comet Shard.

The Local Researcher will now be able to teach your pokemon 'Illegal' moves in the House on Mt. Moon Square (see next post).

Illegal Move Teacher

Requirements:
  • Finish above quest (Moonlight Ritual)

What do you mean 'illegal'?

PBO is closest to the Gen 9 National Dex at the moment. Many pokemon already learning moves they don't normally learn in Gen 9 & we have pokemon that aren't even in Gen 9.

This means, our pokemon should be able to learn moves that were removed during the generations if they were able to learn them in previous generations. An example would be the move Return (we already gave Lopunny Return a while back temporarily in the regular relearner, but we are now balancing so every pokemon gets those kind of moves).

This NPC will be teaching:
  • Moves that were removed from the game before gen 8
  • Event Moves
  • Special Moves

Payment

To teach your pokemon one of these moves, you will go in the house in Mt. Moon Square & pay the Local Researcher
  • 50K F
  • 8 Tiny Mushrooms (dropped by Paras)

Here is a full list of those moves and the pokemon that can learn them (Not finished, in-game pokedex is way better :p):
