Blaze radars have not been working during fishing competitions. When you are fishing in a fishing competition, using competition balls, and you encounter a ultra rare, legendary, shiny, or alpha Pokémon a Blaze radar wont stop you from using a competition ball and that Pokémon being released, and if this does happen it will also consume your current Blaze radar. This has been a issue for many people I have had a issue with it multiple times but I know there are people who have experienced this issue more times than I have. (also it has been kind of annoying because it often consumes my luck protection)
