Starting the questline: Speak to Mr. Fuji
Quite simple, speak to Mr. Fuji on top of the Kanto Pokemon Tower (Lavender Town => Tower => First floor)
He will talk about the Calamity Covenant which is seeking the Dark Orb.
He asks you to travel to Dark City and investigate.
Investigate Dark City
Travel to Dark City and confront the Calamity Covenant.
You will have to fight each of these NPC's. Commander Ankoku as last.

Each of the 'Grunts' gives 2K F as reward & the commander 3K, totalling for 11K F
The commander will share that Lord Kurayami has the Dark Orb & is already performing the ritual in the Pokemon Tower! (Lavender Town => Tower => Top floor)
Return to Pokemon Tower
Top floor, you will find 4 more grunts & Lord Kurayami himself.
You will have to battle all 5 of them (with Lord Kurayami as last) to stop them from awakening Yveltal for their malicious plans.

Each of the 'Grunts' gives 2K F as reward, totalling for 8K F.
Lord Kurayami gives you the Dark Orb.

Speak to Mr. Fuji Again
Mr. Fuji can now perform the ritual safely. He offers to release Yveltal's energy from the Dark Orb.
When agreeing, this makes yveltal roaming for 7 days. Full mechanic explained below.
Roaming Time Mechanic
Yveltal's roaming will not be a permanent roaming like previous (Heatran/Trio Beasts/Eon Duo). Instead it will be unlockable for 7 days maximum per month.
Regardless of anything, Yveltal will stop being roaming for everyone at the first of the month. This is also the day the whole questline resets.
Examples:
Activation Date: The day you agree to release Yveltal's energy (last step in the quest line).
Roaming Period: The time in which you can encounter Yveltal on the map it's at that time Roaming on (7 days or until 1st of next month, whichever comes first).
-- Day of unlock is included; the end date is the day you can no longer encounter it (UTC timezone midnight); fx: In example A, 26th of January will be the last day you can encounter Yveltal.
Next Unlock Available: The day the questline resets (regardless of anything, 1st of every month).
