TROUBLESHOOTING
================================================================================
RODS
----
Q: Why can't I equip this rod?
A: Check your fishing level. Each rod has a minimum level requirement.
Q: I equipped a rod but it's not in my bag anymore?
A: Equipped items are removed from your bag. Unequip to return them to your
bag.
Q: Can I fish with no rod equipped?
A: No, you must have a fishing rod equipped to fish.
Q: Why does Good Rod support automation but not bait?
A: Rod features unlock at different tiers. Good Rod (Level 30) unlocks
automation, while bait requires Super Rod (Level 60).
BAIT
----
Q: Why can't I use bait?
A: Bait requires Level 60+ and a Super Rod, Mythic Rod, or Aether Rod
equipped.
Q: Why did my automation turn off?
A: Automation works with Good Rod or higher. If you switch to Old Rod or
unequip, it auto-disables.
Q: Why is my bait inactive?
A: Bait only works with Super Rod+. Equip a compatible rod to reactivate it.
MODULES
-------
Q: Why can't I apply this module?
A: Check: (1) You're not in battle, (2) The module slot isn't already
occupied, (3) You own the module in your bag.
Q: I equipped 2 modules but only 1 is active?
A: Your rod's module capacity determines how many are ACTIVE. Good Rod only
supports 1 active module. Upgrade to Super Rod (2 slots) or higher to
activate more modules.
Q: Can I remove or swap modules?
A: No, modules are PERMANENT once applied. Choose carefully! Wait for them
to expire naturally before applying a replacement.
Q: My module expired - what now?
A: The module is removed and the slot becomes available. Apply a new module
to fill it.
Q: How do I know which modules are active?
A: Active modules appear at full brightness in the Modules panel. Inactive
modules (beyond rod capacity) appear dimmed.
Q: Do I need to level up to use modules?
A: No! All current modules have level 0 requirement. You can use them
immediately.
TREASURE CHESTS
---------------
Q: How often do treasure chests appear?
A: Very rarely - approximately 1 in 2,500 fishing encounters (~0.04% chance).
Q: How do I make treasure chests easier?
A: Use higher-tier rods (slower bar, larger success zone) and level up your
fishing skill for bonus reaction time.
Q: Can I get multiple rewards from one chest?
A: Yes! Super Rod+ has a chance for multiple rewards. Aether Rod can give
up to 3 rewards from a single chest.
AUTOMATION
----------
Q: Why is automation disabled?
A: Automation requires Level 30+ and a compatible rod (Good Rod or higher).
Q: Why does automation take so long?

TIPS & STRATEGIES
================================================================================
FOR BEGINNERS (Level 0-30)
---------------------------
- Start with the Old Rod (free default rod)
- Focus on leveling up fishing to unlock better rods
- Don't worry about bait or modules yet
- Save up for Good Rod at Level 30
FOR MID-LEVEL PLAYERS (Level 30-60)
------------------------------------
- Upgrade to Good Rod for 10% faster encounters
- Good Rod unlocks automation mode! Enable it for hands-free fishing
- Your first module slot is available - consider Dreamweaver or Stormwire
for easier Pokémon battles
- Keep leveling to unlock Super Rod at 60
- This is where the system really opens up!
FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS (Level 60+)
---------------------------------
- Super Rod unlocks bait system - start using bait for rarer Pokémon
- Second module slot unlocks - add Ability Seeker for Hidden Abilities
- Treasure minigames become much easier with better rods
- Work towards Mythic Rod (Level 100) and Aether Rod (Level 125)
FOR TREASURE HUNTERS
------------------------
- Use higher-tier rods - Easier minigames + more rewards per chest
- Aether Rod is king - Can get up to 3 rewards per chest!
- Practice makes perfect - Learn the timing for your rod's speed
- Treasure chests are VERY rare (~1 in 2,500) - be patient!
- Check the full reward list above to see what you can win
FOR SHINY HUNTERS
---------------------
- Use bait to improve encounter rates (requires Super Rod+)
- Automation mode lets you fish while multitasking
- Better rods = faster encounters = more chances
- Dreamweaver Module (Sleep) or Stormwire Module (Paralysis) makes catching
much easier
FOR MODULE STRATEGISTS
--------------------------
- All 3 current modules are available from level 0 - no waiting!
- Dreamweaver (Sleep) and Stormwire (Paralysis) have 50,000 uses
- Ability Seeker has only 10,000 uses - use strategically
- Upgrade your rod to activate more modules simultaneously
- Plan your upgrades - modules are permanent and use-limited
- Modules expire when uses reach 0 - stock up on replacements
- Old Rod has 1 slot now - you can use a module even at level 0!
FOR COMPLETIONISTS
----------------------
- Max fishing level is 150 - ultimate goal!
- Check the milestones list to see all level rewards
- Level 150 reward: Gold Fisherman Costume Bundle
- Collect all fishing rods and experience their differences
- Try all 3 module types to understand their effects
- Master the treasure minigame at all difficulty levels

TROUBLESHOOTING
================================================================================
RODS
----
Q: Why can't I equip this rod?
A: Automation multiplies wait time by 3x to balance the convenience.
