Walkthrough
The story will allow you to progress through the maps & eventually unlock the Chamunda Boss.
NEW 2025:
Teleport locations are now unlocked when
you first reach that map.
Use this new feature to
reduce the required walking for the story a lot!
Additionally Hex Maniac Sawal (the riddle NPC) was removed.
Start
The start is reaching the Halloween Event.
In Sandgem Town (Sinnoh), there will be a witch NPC beside the regular Teleporter NPC. She will teleport you to the first Halloween map.
New Dawn Town (Parallel)
First step of the actual story is meating Chamunda & Banette. They are located more to the north in New Dawn Town (Parallel)
They will clear the way, allowing you to continue going further up north to leave the first map.
Route 1 (Parallel)
On Route 1 (Parallel) there are 2 exits from this map:
- One to the West is to Oozy Forest (Parallel). Banette will require 5 Soul Shards to unlock. Soul Shards are the events main currency & they are dropped by all common & uncommon pokemon on the Halloween maps.
Oozy Forest (Parallel) will be a map with some spawns.
- The second exit is the exit we need to continue the story. It will lead to a Route 1: North (Parallel) map.
Rockshore City (Parallel)
Rockshore City (Parallel) is the epicenter of the event.
There will be a Healer NPC that functions as a pokecenter on this map, aswell as a regular Mart NPC and the Soul Shard Trader. That shop functions as the main event's shop.
There will be some other things in Rockshore explained more on other posts.
As for the story, there is not much to do here except passing through towards Route 2.
Route 2 (Parallel)
A bit further on the Route, you will once again meet Chamunda continuing the story line.
Unlocking the next map will require you to give the Banette 10 Soul Shards
Boulder Cavern 1F (Parallel)
3 exits on this map:
- The one you came from north west of the map, leading back towards Rockshore (Parallel)
- An exit on the east side, leading to Patthar Village (Parallel)
- Third one is to continue towards Route 3, on the south west of the map.
For the Story progression, you first go to Patthar Village (Parallel)
Patthar Village (Parallel)
Inside, you will find Hex Maniac Mui at the north of the town.
She speaks about a Mismagius who knows how to stop Chamunda's plans.
NOTE: this is not a wild Mismagius, you will need to continue exploring to find an NPC Mismagius.
It's highly recommended to heal in this village.
After the talk, you will go back in Boulder Cavern 1F (Parallel).
Boulder Cavern 1F (Parallel) (Part 2)
Now you go towards the south western exit.
The cave has a little extra exit with exclusive spawn and a Banette claiming more Soul Shards before allowing you to pass.
Route 3 Cliffs (Parallel)
Another split exit map:
- On the south, you have an exit towards Power Lane (Parallel). A map with exclusive spawn, but for story nothing more.
- On the north of the map, you have the exit that leads to Route 3 (Parallel) Chamunda will mention Giratina then vanish.
At North Exit leading to Route 4 (Parallel), Banette will block you from continuing until you pay 20 more Soul Shards.
Route 4 (Parallel)
A map with spawns, nothing happening story wise.
Route 4: Shores (Parallel)
A short cut scene will be happening here.
Banette is asking for 25 Soul Shards.
Lehar Town (Parallel)
Lehar Town exists in the parallel world aswel! However, you'll notice the path onwards is not north like in Jvaloh, but east in the ominous building/whole in the ground.
You can heal up in Lehar Town.
Boulder Cavern - B1F (Parallel)
NOTE: Boulder Cavern is named similar to the previous cave near Patthar. However, these maps have
B1F as code, compared to the 1F near Patthar.
You will see a short cut-scene with Chamunda & Giratina.
Boulder Cavern - B2F (Parallel)
Pay 30 Soul Shards to Banette.
After completing the quest, there will be an Angel NPC where you can heal on this map.
Boulder Cavern - B3F (Parallel)
Nothing happens here for story.
Underground Cavern (Parallel)
A new cut scene with Chamunda & Giratina appears.
Banette will once again claim 30 Soul Shards from players who want to continue going in the Power Plant.
Old Power Plant - Room 1 (Parallel)
You cannot walk on the broken tiles, nor the tiles with lots of broken things on them.
Progression to the next map is by taking the stairs bottom left & going round the map on the 'second floor' towards the Stairs on the east.
Old Power Plant Stairs 1F (Parallel) and Stairs B1F (Parallel)
Both maps are just some stairs, Banette will claim more Soul Shards (30 pieces).
Old Power Plant - Restricted Area
Mismagius can be found here. Once you talked with it, you need to go back to Hex Maniac Mui in Patthar Village (Parallel).
Patthar Village (Parallel) (part 2)
Hex Maniac Mui will still be at the same spot. She will tell the story of the Fiery Witch Wand and how it's needed to foil Chamunda's plans.
That wand got smashed into 10 pieces & scattered throughout the Parallel world. Find all 10 pieces & bring them back to Hex Maniac Mui to get the wand repaired.
NOTE: All 10 Fiery Witch Wand Fragments will be in visible pokeballs around the Parallel world (before Boulder Cavern B1F (Parallel))
NOTE: Fiery Witch Wands of previous years won't help you, you need to collect them & get a new Wand.
Once you have the Wand repaired & in your inventory, Mui will tell you to save a Fennekin from Chamunda's evil plans in Old Power Plant - Restricted Area (Parallel).
All locations of the Fiery Witch Fragments will be shared in the next post in this guide (the Spoilers post including the riddle answers aswel)
Old Power Plant - Restricted Room
You will need to fight & win against Chamunda here.
NOTE: Chamunda will only battle you when you have the fiery witch wand IN BAG. So don't equip it on a pokemon!
After beating Chamunda, the path is open towards the Lost World (western exit from this map).
Lost World 1
The exit is to the North West of this map. Banette will once again demand tribute of 30 Soul Shards.
Lost World 2
The exit is once again to the North West. Mismagius will be there telling you to first go back to Patthar Village, indicating you need something more than you currently have to stop Chamunda.
Patthar Village (Parallel) (part 3)
Hex Maniac Mui will gift you the saved Fennekin. To receive it, you will need room in your party.
The Fennekin has:
- Modest Nature (always)
- Blaze Ability (always, but can be changed using an ability patch)
- Random IV's (and can be randomized using IVR's)
The witch will tell you you need Delphox and it's Mystical Power to be able to get close to Giratina at the end of the Lost World.
This means, you need to level up your Fennekin to level 36 to fully evolve it to Delphox. Teaching it
Mystical Fire is required and you also need to give it the
Fiery Witch Wand as held item.
Lost World 3
One way or another, you need to get back to the Lost World maps & continue towards the third one.
In the North Western Corner, you will once again find Mismagius. The Mismagius will stop you from going towards Giratina if you don't have Delphox in party, holding the Fiery Witch Wand.
NOTE: Wands from previous years might not work, try all wands if you have more than 1 in inventory.
If all is well with your Delphox, you will battle Giratina and upon being successful, save the Parallel world and by extension the multiverse.
After beating Giratina, you will get a
decoration drop and have unlocked both the Halloween Bosses (more info later in the guide).
You have also unlocked the
Shiny Traders (discussed in length further down this guide) & a
Trader for Delphox-H4.
This Delphox-H4 trader is located
in Rockshore City (near the Soul Shard Trader). The Delphox will keep the IV & Nature of the give Delphox.
If you do your due deligence & alert Hex Maniac Mui that Chamunda & Giratina were stopped, they will make
Yveltal trackable in your Roaming Tracker (top right UI button will tell you where you can encounter one).
