I thought it would be fun to have a mini event on the event map (like catching bugs/fishing).
In this case, it would be a race to find/collect 100 ice creams (those that some Pokemon stole and spread throughout the event map).
They always spawn in random places on the event map (not where Pokemon spawn).
The first trainer to find/collect all 100 would win a "Summer Merit Chest".
It would be a chest that evolves, and each time that player manages to win this mini event,
better rewards can come.
*** Note: When a trainer picks up an ice cream,
it doesn't disappear for others, only for the one who picked it up (the goal is to get all 100).
Some "Summer Merit Chest (evolution item)" rewards.
~ Surfing skin
~ Ice cream hat
~ Ice cream scoop mount
~ Ice cream cart mount
~ Dragonite mount enjoying the summer.
Evolved chest (winning for the second or third time)
~ Wild Pokemon with skin
~ Winning for the second time: 1% chance of getting a legendary skin. (Lugia?)
~ Tapu fini 5%
~ Tapu bulu 5%
~ Tapu Lele 5%
~ Tapu Koko 5%
~ Winning for the third time: 10% chance of getting a legendary skin. (Lugia?)
~ One of the fourth members of the Forces of Nature group from the Unova region
(legendary: Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus and Enamorus)?
... The rewards can be adjusted and reviewed.but it would be cool and fun, it would be something new to do during the event.
